Chocolate Chocolate....How I love Thee!!!

So I discovered a great store (okay, it was suggested to me) and I thought I would stop by if I was in the neighborhood.  Okay.....I went out of my way to find it.  And it was closed.  Limited hours.  Yikes.  Not be deterred, I went back when they were, you know....open....and I went on the purchase the best chocolates ever.  The packaging in environmentally friendly and the chocolates are out of this world.  A weakness of mine is malted milk balls.  These are the best....ever.  There.  I said it.  The place is called The Droolin Moose and it is a great small business that I encourage everyone in Bloomington, MN or the surrounding area to stop in!  Drool On!

Christmas is Over, What have we Learned?

Christmas, Christmas, Christmas......how we miss ye.  Actually I don't miss it.  I don't miss the ads for cars, the ads for cheap looking jewelry from a mall store, the countless weight loss ads as every woman MUST over eat, yes?  I really won't miss the ads for entitled kids thinking they deserve more than everyone else and if they don't get this or that (in terms of a material gift) they will cease to exist.  And the parents who give in to them......yikes.

Why is Kate Gosselin still in the news?

I clicked on the news today to see that Kate Gosselin allegedly ran a half marathon in Las Vegas.   Why would anyone care?  Why does anyone care about this overexposed spray tan media whore?  Just because you can spit kids out of your uterus like a Pez dispenser and can verbally berate your ex husband in public does not mean you are worthy of making the news.

There are lots of other newsworthy things going on out there - unemployment, kids needing homes, kids living in poverty and animals in shelters who need good homes.  Why do publicists oops I mean news outlets feel the need to report on her in any way?  She can't sing, she can't act and she CLEARLY can't dance as we all bore witness to on Dancing With the Washed Up Stars in the spring of 2010.  She has no recognizable skills other than making the number EIGHT with her fingers.....speaking of the finger.....
